Integrate into the workplace and SUPPORT. Information technology is a support role/department. We are there to support the users yet most of us hide at our desks. We need to build relationships with others in our companies so we can support them better and build a stronger physical and cyber security net.
I have been in the IT field for 14 years from computer shop to IT Manager. I currently head a team of 2 and support 60+ users.
